Many government, industry, and self-imposed regulations have been added to the chemical business, seemingly stacking massive three-ring binders on top of our backpack of making chemicals. "This paper proposes that we design work systems to include the needs of the various initiatives in the structure and fabric of our backpack. Examples will be given.
