A new class of first generation azido-terminated dendritic esters have been synthesized by four step processes. The final products and the intermediates are characterized by IR, H-1 NMR, and elemental analysis. Thermal studies revealed that these dendritic esters were thermally stable up to similar to 190 degrees C and the glass transition temperature was found to be -54 and -32 degrees C, respectively.
