Mineral carbon sorbents made of aluminum hydroxide and mixture of hydrocarbons from petrochemical waste flotation
Waste stream from phenol and acetone production, containing aluminum chloride and mixture of hydrocarbons from petrochemical waste notation have been used to the production of mineral carbon sorbents. Optimum conditions of mineral (aluminum hydroxide) matrix. obtaining and carbonization processes as well as composition of complex sorbent have been determined. It has been proved that petrochemical waste can be used as a raw material for the production of sorbents, active in the purification process of wastes containing organic impurities.
