Selected problems in removal of chlorinated solvent vapors, particularly carbon tetrachloride, from off-gases
A review with 40 refs. covering removal of organochlorinated compounds from off-gases and the EU regulations concerning CCl4 as a substance under control. Methods used to destruct or to recover CCl4 involving condensation, gas permeation, adsorption on activated C, and combinations thereof were reviewed, electrothermal and corona discharge techniques were advised to study.
