Epoxidation of 1,5,9-cyclododecatriene (CDT) to 1,2-epoxy-5,9-cyclododecadiene (ECDD)
A review with 35 refs. covering epoxidation of cis, trans, trans-1,5,9-cyclododecatriene (CDT) with org. peracids, atkyl and alkylbenzene hydroperoxides, hydrogen peroxide, and air, homogeneous catalysts for epoxidation with hydroperoxides, and heterogeneous catalysts. Processes involving H2O2 and heterogeneous catalysts deserve particular attention.
