Time-Temperature-Transformation (TTT) Cure Diagrams - Relationships Between T-G, Cure Temperature, and Time for Dgeba/Deta Systems
Isothermal curing of a bisphenol A diglycidyl ether-based epoxy-resin-based, using an aliphatic polyamine, has been performed at temperatures between 20 and 60 degrees C. Samples were cured isothermally at various intervals of time, and analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). The glass transition temperature (T-g) and the conversion ratio cure determined by residual enthalpy analysis is used as an isothermal cure-controlled reaction. A time-temperature-transformation (TTT) isothermal cure diagram was carried out to include the time to vitrification and iso-T-g curves.
