Methods for calcn. of operating parameters of various scrubbers used for gas dedusting were reviewed. The existing models for calcn. of the scrubber efficiency were presented. In particular, formation of droplets, dedusting mechanisms and efficiency in spray scubbers and dust particle polydispersity were taken into consideration.
