Full life cycles of gasoline, gas oil, sugar beet and wheat EtOH as well as rapeseed and sunflower fatty acid Me ester (FAME) biodiesels were assessed to estimate the CO(2) emission. The method was found very efficient. The highest redn. of the emission was observed for the sunflower FAME bio-diesel when all its by-products and prodn. wastes were gasified to a fuel gas.
