Poly(vinyl chloride) emulsion was plasticized with Bu(2) phthalate (100:120 by mass), thickened with colloidal SiO(2), kaolin, bentonite or Na CM-cellulose (0.8-9.1% by mass), optionally dild. with p-xylene (1.7-21.4% by mass), and studied for viscosity (shearing stress 10-150 mPa), pseudo plasticity factor and activation energy for viscous flow at 20-40 degrees C. The exp. data were correlated with concns. of the thickeners and p-xylene by polynomial equations.
