Natural gas, MeH hydrate, petroleum, coal, biomass and water were considered as primary raw materials, syngas, biogas, oil, hydrocarbons, EtOH, glycerol and H2S as secondary materials, and hydrocarbons, alcohols, Me2O and NH3 as synthetic materials. Thermochem. (reforming, gasification, pyrolysis, decompn.), biolog. (fermentation, anaerobic digestion), electrolytical and chem. processes were taken into consideration.
