Effect of some dyes on antiageing properties of the acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber
Two corn. SiO(2) were modified with 2-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone or berberine chloride dyes and 1-methyl-3-octylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate or 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium 2-(2-methoxyethyl)sulfate ionic liqs. and used as fillers of butadiene-acylonitryle rubber. After vulcanization with S, mercaptobenzothiazole and ZnO, the rubbers were studied for mech. properties (tensile strength, elongation and break) and UV ageing resistance (0,7 W/m(2), temp. 60 degrees C, irradn. time 100 h). The ageing resulted in deterioration of mech. properties of the vulcanizates but in a less extent than in the case when nonmodified SiO(2) was used as filler.
