Liquid and gas bubble velocities at the level of a self-aspirating disk impeller
Air bubbles were dispersed in distd. water with a self-aspirating disk impeller (342-360 rpm) under lab. conditions to det. the velocities of liq. and air bubbles. The differences between velocities of gas bubbles and liq. appeared in the impeller region only. Small nos. of air bubbles did not change the liq. velocity at the disk impeller level.
