A prototype model of a new universal turbine stirrer with 2 geometrically similar hubs used to mount 2, 3, 4 or 6 blades was constructed. An integral part of the stirrer was a set of interchangeable rectangular blades (6 blades in 9 different sizes) with the same holding pin and 4 hole plugs. An addn. part of the set was a device for establishing requested inclination angles of blades in relation to the axis of rotation of the agitator shaft.
