Camelina oil as a biofuel for diesel engines
Camelina oil was compared with a corn gas oil in respect to its applicability as a fuel for compression-ignition engines. The use of camelina oil resulted in an increase in CO and NOx emissions and ignition delay angle. The oil did not meet the resp. std. requirements on I-2 no., S content and d. but its lubricationg properties were better than those of the gas oil.
