Null controllability of the free surface of a liquid in a container
This paper deals with the well-posedness, boundary observability, and boundary controllability of a model of lateral sloshing in moving containers. It begins with a short review of the lateral sloshing theory, then the problem is solved by combining the Fourier method and the Hilbert uniqueness method of J.-L. Lions. At the end an application is discussed.
