Compatibility studies of partially compatible blends through glass transition temperature and melting point depression analysis
This work deals with a compatibility study of blends based on poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) by means of the determination of the polymer-polymer interaction parameter through two different and separated methods. Firstly, the well-known Flory-Huggins interaction parameter was determined from melting point depression analysis and subsequently from T-g measurements by applying an expression proposed by Kim and Burns.
