Papatzacos and Vrbik proposed formulas for calculating the pseudoskin factor from a restricted-entry well in a single-layer homogeneous reservoir. This work extends their simple analytical formulas to a multilayer case. It is shown that, in applying the new equations, the effective average vertical permeability Yeh and Reynolds defined should be used.
