Autothermal Metal Recovery from WEEE by Energy Optimized Zero Waste Metallurgy
This project deals with an autothermal process for electronic scrap recycling. Through a small scale trial series with two different types of electronic scrap, a process window is developed for trials in demonstration scale. The results exceed the aims. The recovery rate of copper and precious metals is more than 97 %. Also, a salable mineral phase is produced.
