Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-palladium nanocomposite was deposited in situ from water-based solution onto micrometer-sized polystyrene particles. The resulting composite particles were extensively characterized with respect to particle size and size distribution, morphology, and chemical compositions.
