Dynamics of plastics combustion in a reactor with inert bubble fluidized bed
Eight types of plastics were combusted at 850-950 degrees C together with liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in a fluidized sand bed to study the combustion course and compn. of flue gases. Use of LPG resulted in a stabilization of the combustion process. A stable combustion of glass fiber-reinforced polyamide (without LPG) was also obsd.
