Effect of cold plasma treatment on structure of poly-D-glucosamine and muramidase biocomposite
Poly-D-glucosamine was blended with muramidase pesticide in 1% aq. soln. of lacetic acid, formed as films, dried and He plasma-treated under vacuum (0.01 MPa). The films were studied for microstructure by scanning microscopy and for antibacterial activity (Pseudomonas fluorescens). The activity increased with increasing contents of the components and also after the plasma treatment.
