Effect of chemical regeneration of spent activated carbon on its physico-chemical properties
Spent.com activated was regenerated H2O2 or H2O2/Fe2+ and analyzed for grain size distribution and contents of acidic and basic groups on the surface. The adsorbed org. compds. were removed in both cases but the use of H2O2/Fe2+ was more efficient than that of H2O2.
