Safety requirements in explosion hazard areas were discussed. Min. ignition temps. of dust layers and clouds were presented as a function of cereal product dust layer thickness and max. acceptable surface temp. of machines operating in the presence of dust clouds and layers. In particular, wood, herb and bituminous coal dusts were taken into consideration.
