We investigated one pot direct catalytic conversion of cellulose to light hydrocarbon selectively at low temperature in the presence of Pt and solid-acid zeolite catalysts. Results revealed that Pt/H-beta zeolite catalyst prepared by ion exchange enabled selective production of C-3 and C-4 hydrocarbons.
