Template-free Synthesis of Highly Porous Carbon Nitride, nanoC(3)N(4)
A novel template-free and postsynthetic preparation of a highly porous carbon nitride material, nanoC(3)N(4), was developed using concentrated sulfuric acid as the dispersion medium, followed by impregnation with ethanol. nanoC(3)N(4) has a structure similar to that of graphitic carbon nitride composed of melem polymers but has a stronger basicity.
