Conductivities and Ionic Association of Copper(II) and Manganese(II) Sulfates in Ethanol Plus Water at 298.15 K
Electrolytic conductivities for copper(II) and manganese(II) sulfates in ethanol + water, ranging in mole fraction of ethanol from 0 to 0.28, have been measured at 298.15 K. The limiting molar conductivity, Delta(o), and association constant, K-A, were derived from concentration-conductivity results with the Lee and Wheaton conductivity equation. The results are discussed on the basis of the solvent effect on the conductivity parameters of these salts.
