Determination of the effective temperature of soman ions by differential mobility spectrometry
Soman vapors in air (concn. 30 mu g/m(3), 30-100 degrees C, humidity 1%) were ionized in differential ion mobility spectrometer to det. the effective temp. of decompn. of dimeric soman ion to monomeric one and then probably to CH2=CHCMe3 at 236 degrees C. The ion intensity decreased with increasing high sepn. voltage.
