The solubility of helium was measured in four aqueous alcohol solutions (methanol + water, ethanol + water, 1-propanol + water, and 2-propanol + water systems) over the full range of composition at 25 degrees C and 101.325 kPa. Both the excess quantity referring to the Ostwald coefficient and that referring to the excess volume show similar minima as a function of the volume fraction of alcohol.
