Densities, Shear Viscosities, Refractive-Indexes, and Speeds of Sound of bis(2-Methoxyethyl) Ether with Hexane, Heptane, Octane, and 2,2,4-Trimethylpentane in the Temperature Interval 298.15-K-318.15-K
Densities, shear viscosities, refractive indices, and speeds of sound for the mixtures of bis(2-methoxyethyl) ether with hexane, heptane, octane, and 2,2,4-trimethylpentane have been measured in the temperature interval of 298.15-318.15 K. The experimental values of pure liquids and their mixtures are used to calculate the changes in molar volume V(E) and deviations in viscosity DELTAeta and speeds of sound DELTAu for the mixing processes. These results are fitted to the Redlich-Kister polynomial relation to estimate the binary interaction parameters. Refractive index results are analyzed using different refractive index mixing rules.
