Synthesis of Porous Gold Based on Gold-Thiol Coordination Polymer and Its Application in SERS Detection with High Activity and High Reproducibility
The Au-thiol coordination polymer with the structure of [-S-(CH2)(3)-S-Au-](n) was synthesized from 1,3-propanedithiol and hydrogen tetrachloroaurate via a hydrothermal method. Through reduction, the as-synthesized polymer was transformed to a porous Au, which was studied as a SERS-active material. Dependent on the uniform spacing of Au atoms sustained by the ligand of thiol, outstanding SERS reproducibility of the as-prepared porous Au was achieved.
