Vapor-Liquid-Equilibria, Excess Molar Enthalpies, and Excess Molar Volumes of Dimethyl Carbonate Plus 1,2-Epoxybutane at 288.15-K, 298.15-K, or 313.15-K
Vapor-liquid equilibria, (VLE), excess molar enthalpies, H-m(E), and excess molar volumes, V-m(E), of dimethyl carbonate + 1,2-epoxybutane have been determined at 288.15, 298.15, and 313.15 K. The VLE data, obtained by using an all-glass dynamic recirculating still, were tested for thermodynamic consistency and correlated by the Wilson equation. H-m(E) and V-m(E) values were determined by means of an LKB flow microcalorimeter End an Anton Paar vibrating tube density meter, respectively. All excess properties are positive, with a negligible temperature dependence (maxima values of H-m(E) or V-m(E) are 295 J . mol(-1) and 0.17 cm(3) . mol(-1)). H-m(E) and V-m(E) values have been correlated by the Redlich-Kister equation, and smooth representations are presented.
