Salt Effects of Lithium-Chloride, Sodium-Bromide, or Potassium-Iodide on Liquid-Liquid Equilibrium in the System Water Plus 1-Butanol
Liquid-liquid equilibrium data for the partially miscible systems of water + 1-butanol + salt were measured at 25 degrees C. The salts used were Lithium chloride, sodium bromide, and potassium iodide. The systems were compared in terms of salting-out efficiency and solvation effects.
