Thermal-Conductivity of Gaseous Trifluoroiodomethane (CF3I)
The thermal conductivity of gaseous trifluoroiodomethane (CF3I) is reported over the temperature range -6.50 degrees C to 63.55 degrees C at pressures up to 1000 kPa with an uncertainty of 3% using a transient hot-wire instrument employing two anodized tantalum wires as the heat source. The results were correlated as a function of temperature and density. The values for the thermal conductivity of the dilute gas and the saturated vapor are obtained by extrapolation.
