Bubble-point pressures of some selected methane plus synthetic C6+ mixtures
In this work, a series of bubble-point measurements were carried out on some synthetic C6+ mixtures in the presence of methane. These synthetic mixtures included alkanes, cycloalkanes, and aromatics. The experiments were carried out using the Cailletet apparatus, and bubble-point pressures were measured in a temperature range of 311-470 K. The corresponding pressures were predicted using the Peng-Robinson equation of state, and the relative errors were estimated. It is shown that such synthetic C6+ mixtures can be simulated reasonably well by this equation of state.
