The solubility of H2S and CO2 in an aqueous solution containing 45 mass % 2-piperidineethanol, 40 mass % sulfolane, and 15 mass % water has been determined at 40 and 100 degrees C. Partial pressures of H2S ranged from 0.02 to 5550 kPa and partial pressures of CO2 ranged from 0.002 to 18 900 kPa. Additional data for CO2 were obtained at 25, 70, and 130 degrees C. Data were also obtained for mixtures of H2S and CO2 in this solution at 40 and 100 degrees C.
