Vapor-liquid equilibria for the carbon dioxide plus pentane and carbon dioxide plus toluene systems
Vapor-liquid equilibrium data have been measured for the systems carbon dioxide + pentane at(310.15, 333.15, and 363.15)K and carbon dioxide + toluene at 323.15 K and 333.15 K. The experimental data have been correlated by the Peng-Robinson equation of state with one interaction parameter. In addition, the group pair parameters relating to CH2 + CO2 and ArCH + CO2 in the PRASOG group contribution model are determined.
