Diamond layers were deposited on Si substrate by thermal decompn. of MeH at 930 K and studied for structure by scanning electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy and electrochem. impedance spectroscopy. The layers quality decreased with the increasing MeH concn. in the input gas (0.5-3.5%).
