Effect of foliar application of zinc fertilizers on zinc content in the hop leaves, on the cones yield and content of alpha acids
Two Zn fertilizers (ZnSO4 center dot 7H(2)O and Zn chelate) were triple used (total dose 400 g Zn/ha) during the hop vegetation season. An increase in Zn content in the hop leaves and a significant increases in cone and alpha-acid yields were results of the fertilizing. A stimulating effect of foliar use of the fertilizers on the alpha-acid content in the cones was also obsd.
