Thermal Treatment of Sewage Sludge in the Czech Republic and Experimental Determination of Emissions Resulting from the Incineration
Different strategies in sludge disposal of european countries lead to different sludge disposal paths. Thermal treatment, which is widely spread in Germany, is rarely used in the Czech Republic. This article describes, based on experimental work, the emissions production of certain pollutants emerging from the sludge incineration and investigates the effect of lime addition on the amount of produced pollutants.
