Abnormally Large Thermal Vibration of Chloride Anions Incorporated in Layered Double Hydroxide Consisting of Mg and Al (Mg/Al=2)
Synchrotron-radiation X-ray diffraction enabled us to find the significantly large thermal vibration of chloride anions incorporated in a layered double hydroxide consisting of Mg and Al (Mg/Al = 2). The anomaly was ascribed to the hydrated water molecules in the interlayer.
