Polypropylene nonwovens were prepd. by melt blown method and treated with low-temp. plasma to improve their ability for removal of paraffinic oil and NaCl aerosols. A substantial decrease in the aerosol penetration (up to 90%) was achieved. The penetration slightly increase during the filtration for 60 min.
