A Kinetic-Theory of Suspensions .2. The Steady Flow of a Hard-Sphere Suspension
Calculations are reported of the steady-state shear and bulk viscosity coefficients of a suspension bf freely rotating, hard spheres dispersed in a continuous Newtonian solvent. These calculations are based on a theory recently reported in this journal. Our theoretical predictions are compared with those of other theories, with the results of computer simulations, and with experimental data.
