Approach for integrated optimization of community heating system at urban detailed planning stage
Community heating system consumed large quantity of fossil energy in cold areas. In order to reduce the fossil energy consumed by community heating system, the necessity of heating system planning at urban detailed planning stage is emphasized and the implementation method coordinated with existing urban planning system is proposed. A linear program (LP) model which can be used to synthesize the heat production technologies selection and community heating system network structure design is introduced. Based on the value of fossil energy consumption ratio (FECR) the classification of heat production technologies is provided. According to the classification of heat source FECR, the number of equations can be cut down. By solving the LP model, the optimized community heating system structure and heat production technologies in every land parcel is obtained. The application of this method in a community planning in North China had verified the availability of this method. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
