An investigation of geothermal energy applications and assisted air-conditioning system for energy conservation analysis
This study used the Sea Gala Spring Hotel in Wanli, Jinshan District, where geothermal water at 90-100 C is used as a hot spring, as a case study to analyze the effect of geothermally assisted air-conditioning systems. The results of analysis showed that the total electric energy consumption in the building was reduced by 26%, the electric energy consumed by the air-conditioned heating system of the building was reduced by 54%, and the electric energy consumed by the air-host was reduced by 66.5%.
