Computational and experimental investigation on thermodynamics of the reactor of aluminum oxidation in saturated wet steam
In this paper the model of an ideal-displacement reactor for aluminum oxidation in saturated wet steam is presented. In particular, the ideal constant mode of this reactor is considered Thermo- and gas-dynamic parameters of the reactor are calculated Obtained parameters are optimized from the point of view of thermodynamic reactor effectiveness The comparison of pilot experiments and theoretical results is also carried out Analysis shows good computation and experiment agreement and concludes the appropriateness of obtained data using in development and optimization of energy plants based on aluminum oxidation reactors as steam-hydrogen generators This work also gives some practical advices how to attain an ideal constant mode of the reactor of aluminum oxidation in saturated wet steam (C) 2010 Professor T Nejat Veziroglu Published by Elsevier Ltd All rights reserved
