촉매화학증착법으로 제조한 나노 탄소섬유/튜브

초록
촉매화학증착법은 나노탄소섬유와 튜브를 포함하여 다양한 물질을 제조하는 잘 확립된 방법으로, 저온성장법으로 대량생산에 적합하다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 공정변수를 적절히 선택하면, 특정한 성장모드와 결정화도를 갖는 기상성장탄소섬유(나노탄소섬유와 튜브)를 제조하는 것이 가능하다. 기상성장탄소섬유의 이용기술 몇 가지를 소개하였다.
Catalytic chemical vapor deposition (CCVD) is a well established method for synthesis of a wide range of materials including nanofibers and nanotubes. Its primary advantage is that it is low temperature technique and suitable for large scale production. By careful manipulation of various process parameters, it is possible to produce vapor-grown carbon fibers (nanofibers and nanotubes) in assorted conformation as well as to control their crystalline order. Some applications of vapor-grown carbon fibers are introduced.
