Nucleation and growth of fluoride crystals by agglomeration of the nanoparticles
Combination of electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction experimental data confirms the non-classical micro-block mechanism of crystal growth for fluoride nanopowders obtained by co-precipitation from aqueous solutions by aggregation and intergrowth of the corresponding nanoparticles.
