반복실험에 의한 CLC용 Ni계 산소공여입자의 재생성 연구
A Study on Regenerability of Ni based Oxygen Carrier Particles for Chemical-Looping Combustor by Cyclic Test
NiO based oxygen carrier particles are developed for chemical-looping combustion(CLC), in which fuel is reduced by metallic oxide medium in a reduction reactor and reduced metal is oxidized by air in oxidation reactor. This system may yield great advantage of savings of energy and suppressing the effect on environment. Oxygen carrier particle, NiO/Bentonite(NiO 59 wt%), is examined from the viewpoint of carbon deposition and regenerability. The purpose of this study is to clarify appropriate reaction conditions to avoid carbon deposition in cyclic usage and to verify regenerability of oxygen carrier particles by cyclic experiment. In this study, we performed a cyclic experiment that repeat reduction and oxidaton reaction up to 12 cycle at 900 ℃. The regenerability, carbon deposition characteristics and kinetics of reduction and oxidation of oxygen carrier particles were examined by TGA(thermal Gravimetrical Analyzer).
