The Excess Volumes of (Dibutylamine Plus an Ether) at the Temperature 298.15-K
The excess volumes V(E) of {dibutylamine + diethyl ether or dipropyl ether or di-1-methylethyl ether or dibutyl ether or 1, 1-dimethylethyl methyl ether or 1, 1-dimethylpropyl methyl ether or tetrahydrofuran or tetrahydropyran or 1,4-dioxane} have been measured over the whole composition range at the temperature 298.15 K in order to investigate dibutylamine ether interactions. The V(E) values for each of the mixtures studied are negative with the exception of (dibutylamine + dibutyl ether or tetrahydrofuran or tetrahydropyran or 1,4 dioxane). For each of the sets of [x{CH3(CH2)3}2NH + (1-x)ROR’], with ROR’ a straight-chain ether or a branched-chain ether or a cyclic ether, V(m)E increases with increasing molar mass of the ROR’.
