Densities of Liquid-Ammonia in the Temperature-Range from 310-K and 360-K at Pressures Up to 200-MPa
Density measurements at given temperatures and pressures in the compressed liquid phase for ammonia were carried out with a metal-bellows variable volumometer along four isotherms between 310 K and 360 K at pressures from the vapor pressure to 200 MPa. The results cover the high-density region from 492 kg.m-3 to 693 kg.m-3. The experimental uncertainties of temperature T, pressure p, and density rho were estimated to be not greater than 3 mK, 0.0010.p, and 0.0010.rho, respectively. Measurements of vapor pressure at temperatures from 310 K to 400 K as well as those of saturated liquid density from 310 K to 360 K am also reported. The isothermal compressibility and the isobaric expansivity on the basis of the present results are illustrated.
